We are having a rapid change in weather. Each morn-
ing brings cooler temperatures and the wind chill factor
has been dropping drastically. If you haven't winterized
your home, better get with it because your heating bill will
be out of sight.
The senior thrift shop is having another bag sale on
Monday, November 3 and Tuesday, November 4 for your
shopping pleasure. $5 for the first bag and $3 for any bag
after. If you haven't visited our Thrift shop, you should.
They have a great selection of clothing, household items,
reading material, children's toys and a variety of things
that are sure to catch your eye. If you feel up to it, "you can
shop 'til you drop."
The flu, pneumonia and common colds are beginning
to surface. Be sure you have had your shots to avoid these
illnesses. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Our week went very well. We had some very lovely
guests join us for lunch. We were pleased to have Willie
Stouffer, Betty Souvie, James Lundow, and from Rachel,
Nev., Edith Grover and Kay Medlin. And a pleasant
surprise to have the Master Garden Club members, Jane
Hutchins, Dixie Coop, Melanie Behnke, Cindy Furtado,
Trish Rippie, Nancy Mason and Charlotte Sorenson. This
club has done a fantastic job in the landscaping of the
center. The grounds are beginning to look like someone

After all the fuss and feathers of getting moved into our
new senior center, we are here. Now all we have to do is get
all our plunder put away so
we can find it. That's all part
of the fun of moving though,
and we are so glad to be in
our new place that we really
don't mind,
Our first meal in the new
house was October's
evening birthday dinner
with honorees Eva Berry,
Harry Johnson, Delbert
Lewis, George Cross,
Martha Blair, Doris Jean
Cross and Jay Clogston
which was held on October
24. We had a bumper crop
