Here we are, already in the middle of September. Our days
are still quite warm and the evenings cool with a touch of fall

Some are local resident, others passing through. This weeks
guests were George Smedley, Indio, Calif., Al Schenker from

c,,, caught short again, but here is a quote from
Beatty. Thanks, but It bttt I;* hme.
Do you just belong?
Are you an active member, the kind that will be
missed?
Or are you just contented, that your name is on the list?
Do you attend meetings, and mingle with the flock?
Or do you stay at home to criticize and knock?
Do you take an active part, to help the projects along?
Or are you satisfied, to just belong?
Do you work with your committees, and get right in
and mix?
Or leave the work to just a few, and talk about the
"cliques?"
Think this over "member", you know right from wrong.
Are you an active member, or do you just belong?
A thought for the day, week, month and year.
MENU:
September 23 - Green casserole
September 24 - Burritos
September 25 - Spaghetti
