Obituaries
Kenneth Oberlin
#2796, he was a 22 year resident of Pahrump.
Kenneth James Oberlin, 70, died August 1, 1997, at his
residence in Pahrump, Nev.
He was retired from the gaming industry, a Marine Vet-
eran and a member of the VFW and DAV. He was a five year
resident of Pahrump, coming from Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Jean of Pahrump, sons, Ken of
Marshal, Mo., and John of Las Vegas; daughter, Julie of Las
Vegas and five grandchildren.
Services were held at St. Andrews Catholic, Boulder City,
Father Annese officiated. Desert Memorial handled the ar-
rangements.
Henry Tutwiler, Jr.
Henry Curtis Tutwiler, Jr., 87, died Aug. 1, 1997, at a Las
Vegas hospital.
A retired carpenter and a member of Pahrump Elks Lodge

He is survived by his wife, Flo of Pahrump; son, David of
Prescott Ariz; daughters, Ginger Dutton of Williams, Ore.,
and Janice McDearman of Corpus Christi, Texas; 12 grand-
children and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the First Southern
Baptist Church, Pahrump, Aug. 16 at 11 a.m. with Pastor
Ronald Trummell officiating. Arrangements are being handled
by the Nevada Funeral Services, Las Vegas.
Gladys Webster
Gladys Webster, 79, died July 14, 1997, in Las Vegas.
A homemaker, she was born March 8, 1918, in Antlers,
Okla., and was a seven-year resident of Pahrump.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Mains of Pahr-
ump, Jean Robrets of Paragould, Ariz., June Clark of Tucson,
Ariz., Delores Wilson of Shafter, Calif., and Connie DeScuillo
of Towncreek, Ala.; and 26 grandchildren. Interment was
private. Palm Mortury of Las Vegas handled arrangements.
Jeremy Wilson
ROUND MOUNTAIN - Jeremy David Wilson, 18, died
July 17,1997.
A former restaurant cook, he was born Aug. 1, 1978, in
Dallas, Tax., and was a nine-year resident of Round Moun-
lain.
He is survived by his parents, Cathy and Bruce Baird of
Round Mountain; and brother, Jason of Texas.
Memorial services were July 26 at Donald Simpson Com-
munity Center, Round Mountain. Private family interment
will follow. Gunter's Funeral Home, Tonopah, is handling
arrangements.
Damien McMinton
Damien Lewis McMinton, 18, died May 30, 1997, in
Redway, Calif. He was a resident of Fortuna, Calif.
Born June 18, 1978, in Las Vegas, he was a resident of
Pahrump for 10 years where he attended the Middle School
and worked with children through the Cancer Society. He
moved with his family to Rio Dell, Calif., in 1989, where he
attended Rio Dell Elemen-
tary School and later Fortuna
Union High school, where he
excelled in Husky football.
He was an avid sports fan
who also enjoyed playing golf
and baseball.
He is survived by his
mother, Guylene McMinton
of Fortuna, Calif.; father,
Steven McMinton of Las
Vegas; brother, Christopher
of Tennessee; grandfather,
Gay Farmer of Las Vegas.
A celebration of his life
was held on June 8 in Rio
Dell.
Arrangements were

Florabelle Schultz
Florabelle Schultz, 84, died July 21,1997, at her residence
in Pahrump.
She was born Jan. 22, 1913, in Great Falls, Mont.
She is survived by sons, Morley of Venice, Fla., and
Terance of Buile Falls, Ore.; daughter, Bonnabelle Thomas of
Pahrump; brother, Lorne Simpson of Anchorage, Alaska;
sister, Joan Greene of Romance, Ark; seven grandchildren
and seven great grandchildren.
Private family services were held.
Arrangements are" being handled by the Neptune Society
of Nye County.
Tracey Weaver
Tracey Weaver, 30, died July 18, 1997, in a traffic accident
near Las Vegas.
She was born June 24, 1967 in Las Vegas.
She was a 30-year resident of Pahrump and an active
volunteer in special school functions.
She is survived by her husband, John Weaver; sons, David,
Richard and Justin of Pahrump; mother, Cherie Browder;
father, Buddy Darley; brother, Timothy Browder all of Las
Vegas.
Timothy O'Malley
Timothy Robert •'Mall,y, 38, died July 24, 1997, at the
Amargosa Valley Medical Clinic.
He worked in retail and was a four year resident of Beatty,
coming from Las Vegas. He was born March 21, 1959, in
Buffalo, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife, Judi; daughter, Tami; father,
Jerome O'Malley Sr.; brother, Jerome OqVlalley, Jr. and
sister, Maureen Bannister all of Beatty.
Private family services were held. The Neptune Society of
Nye County handled the arrangements.
George Dingee
George Dingee, 70, died July 25, 1997, at Pahrump Medi-
cal Center.
A member of the First Southern Baptist Church and retired
from the food industry , he was born April 28, 1927, in
Neptune City, N.J. He was a 15 year resident of Pahrump.
He is survived by his wife, Georgella of Pahrump; daugh-
ters, Phillis Forseth and Kathryn Chaney of Pahrump; grand-
children Connie Sullivan of Louisiana, Robert Larson and
Susan Chaney of Pahrump, Bryan Larson and Tracy Schwartz
of Calif.; Great grandchildren, Loria Larson of New Mexico,
Katie Sullivan of Louisiana, Mark and RyanSullivan of
Louisana.
Gray,side services were held at ChiefTecopa Cemetary in
Pahrump. Pastor Ron Trummel officiated. Arrangements
were handled by Pahrump Family Mortuary.

Colin William DeShaw was born to Ann and Shawn DeShaw of Pahrump at 11 p.m. July
17, 1997, at University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
He weighed in at seven pounds, one ounce, and measured 20 inches long.
