Catastrophe avoided by quick thinking fire department

PAHRUMP---Saturday, July 26 at approximately 3:35
p.m. an emergency 911 call came into the Sheriff' s Office,
"Desert Connection is on fire; we have a 500-gallon
propane tank." These were the cries of Mary Garoutte co-
