He was born on Dec. 9, 1914, in Crab Orchard, KY., and passed away March 9, 1997 in Rice Lake, Wis. He will be buried with his wife, Kay Brown, at the Tecopa cemetery. There will be no offi- cial service.. After a stay in the convalescent center in Bishop, Calif., he traveled to Rice Lake, Wis., to live with his grandniece, Vicki Marcias Stoeklen, her husband, Jeff Stoeklen, and their children, Justin and Jorja. He lived there since 1993 and had the opportunity to see relatives he hadn't seen since the 1940s. Paul is survived by three brothers, Barbara Lubbers Barbara Dianne Lubbers, 65, died June 2, 1997, in Pahr- ump. A homemaker, she was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Rock- ford, Ill., and was a four-year resident of Pahrump. She is survived by her Clarence, Ralph and Corbett Brown; two sisters, Wanita Jarrison and Leona Th- ompson; two nieces, Jean Albott and Jerry Smith; and one grandniece, Vicki Macias Stoeklen. Paul and his wife, Kay, owned and oper- ated the Pink Trailer Cafe in Tecopa Hot Springs for many years. They loved their work because their custom- ers were their friends. Many wonderful memories were created there. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends; just as I know how deeply he missed his wife, Kay, his friends and his home in Tecopa.
