Scheduled for

Memorial Day services
will be held at the Pahrump
Cemetery on Monday, May
26, at 10 a.m. Charlotte Le
Var, Pahrump Town Board
chairman, will give the open-
ing address.
All residents of Pahrump
• Iwelcome to come out and
pay tribute to our fallen com-
rades. Vietnam Veterans, now
is the time to honor all those
names on that wall.
After the services, a buffet
will be served at the Post
Home, 465t Homestead
Road.
The services are being
sponsored by the VFW and
its Auxiliary, the American
Legion, and the Disabled
American Veterans.

An emu stroganoff dinner
is the main course for the Pahr-
ump Chamber of Commerce's
monthly meeting at the Com-
munity Center on Wednes=
day, May"28, at 7 p:m. "
The price is $6 per person.
Reservations must be

Soccer signups
Youths interested in play-
ing soccer next fall can sign .
up in August to compete in
the Pahrump Valley's Ameri-
can Youth Soccer Organiza-
tion (AYSO) Region 808.
Signups are scheduled
Aug. 16 and Aug. 18 from 8
a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Commu-
nity Center's main hall, Ba-
sin Road and Hwy. 160.
