Tough to do having just returned from a two-week vacation. This is one of the best vacations I have ever had. I was able to pay a visit to Italy. What a beautiful place. And, I was able to find relations I didn't even know I had. A wish of a lifetime fulfilled. I want to thank Carol Cox and all the seniors who filled in for me during my absence. They all did a fantastic job as I kne they would. My sincere thank you to all. Your support aria help added joy to my vacation. We have an opening for a van driver. Our present van driver is leaving at the end of the month. Applications are being accepted at this time. The hours are from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Starting pay will be $4.83 per hour. If you or anyone you know is interested, come by the Senior Center for an application. We are'so grateful for all the donations we receive from you wonderful folks. We send a sincere thank you to Beta Sigma Phi for the rolls, Steve's Donuts for the tasty pastries, lemons and grapefruit from Harry and Dorothy Roquch ofColton, Calif. through Helen and Jerry D'Ottavio, the coordinators for the Cowboy Poetry for the food items, Rhea's Flower Shop for the fresh vegetables, and to Debbie Quas and crew for their food donations. If we missed anyone, please forgive. We are really enjoying our benches, compliments of the Tonopah Volunteer Fire Department. They look so neat sitting in the entrance. Thanks to all of you for your interest and support to the Senior Center. We had a great group of people join us for lunch this past week. We welcomed Paul Skeen, Gene and Rita Potter from Rachel, Virginia Ridgway, Dorthy Stowell and Howard Cohen of Goldfield, Audra Kelley, Sherry Page, Debbie Kaminski, June Kemp, Lucile Scheutz, Edna and Gaylon Shepard of Las Vegas, and Tim Shields, and Bill and Marilyn McCreary of Reno, and Lynn and Elinor Nicholson (Rachel Nicholson's Morn and Dad) from Stanwood, Wash. and Judy Camariilo and Louis Uhl.
