Kiefer wins fourth straight at Speedway
Levi Kiefer is on a roll.
The Pahrumpian won his fourth straight main event in
street stocks competition last Saturday night, May 10, at the
Pahrump Valley Speedway.
Starting 17th in the field of 24, Kiefer took the lead on the
20th lap of the 25-lap main event and won by 10 car lengths
over Jimmy Kimball Jr., another Pahrumpian.
Kiefer blew a tire in the first heat race of the night, but came
back to win the 10-lap semi-main prior to chalking up his big

victory.
In other main events, Jim Wulfenstein of Pahrump cap-
tured the IMCA headliner while Jay Thom of Las Vegas took
the Dwarf Car highlight.
The semi-weekly racing action continues on May 24 at the
Speedway, beginning with heat races at 7:30 p.m.
Besides heat races for each classification, there will he a
trophy dash and main event action.
The speedway is north of Hwy 160. Take Basin Avenue to
where the pavement ends, then turn left.
