There is a great need for
the beautification of the
Amargosa Valley Cem-
etery.
There are plots with no
markers, trees are dying due
to lack of water. Donating
his time, Fred White is in
the process of reducing the
water lines. The Amargosa
Chamber of Commerce is
working on purchasing
grave site markers, trees,
repairing the fencing and
cleaning up the area.
The Amargosa Valley
Chamber will hold a fund
raiser on May 24th, 1997
which will include a swap
meet, community pot luck,
bingo session, raffle, and an
open house for all buginess
in the valley. All proceeds
to go towards the beautifi-
cation of the cemetery.
