( )bituaries George Edward Ostrom George Edward Ostrom, 83, died March 19,1997 at his resi- dence in Pahrump. Born in Queens, New York on July 7, 1913. Ostrom was a Pahrump resident for the past year and a half coming from Long Island, N.Y. He is survived by a son John Ostrom of Pahrump, NV, a daughter Sharon Reid of Potts Town, PA. and four grandchil- dren. There was a private family service at the Neptune society of Nye Co. Kathleen Thompson Ethan Tlompson iathleen Evonne Thompson, 44, and her son, Ethan Hale imps•n, 15, died Wednesday. A 25-year resident of Beatty and a former resident of Las Vegas, Kathleen Thompson was born Oct.2, 1952, in Monahans, Texas, and operated a janitorial service. Ethan Thompson was born Nov. 21, 1981, in Las Vegas and was a lifetime resident of Beatty and a ninth grade student at Beatty High School. Kathleen Thompson is survived by her husband, Evan III; and sons, Evan IV, Eugene, Elliott, Elan, E. Oliver and E. RyNe, all of Beatty; daughters, Heather Ball of Kingsburg, Calif., and Eirianedd and Elspeth, both of Beatty; parents, Fletcher d'Orsay and Evelyn d'Orsay, both of Las Vegas; brothers, Jo- seph d'Orsay of Beatty and David d"orsay of Springfield, Mo.: sisters, Sherry Newcomb of Las Vegas and Marilyn Golla of Beatty; and eight grandchildren. Ethan Hall is survived by his father, Evan Hall is survived by his father, Evan HI; brothers, Evan IV, Eugene, Elliott, Elan, E. Oliver and E. Ryne; sisters, Heather Ball, Eirianedd and Elspeth; and grandparents, Fletcher d'Orsay and Evelyn d'Orsay. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Beatty High School gymnasium.
