Time again to give you an update on how things are going at the Center. Well, things are going great thanks to all the Seniors who join us for lunch everyday. But we always wish for more. We miss those of you that don't come in. Last Saturday, March 8th was an exciting day for the Center. The Tonopah Master Garden Club was hard at work getting the grounds ready for the planting of shrubs. The day will proved successful and the weather cooper- ated with lots of sunshine. Our thank you to Kit Carson for repairing our serving carts. They were ready to fall apart and when we used them we held our breath hoping they would last one more day. Bless you Kit, we are grateful for your help. It was nice having Helen and Jerry D'Ottavio back with us even for such a short time. They have been spending a great deal of time in California due to fail- ing health of Jerry's father, as well as Helen's mother who has been in a rest home for some time. We sin- cerely hope things will begin to look brighter for them. Our guests this week were Dolores Lubow and Oliver Starkey of Goldfield. And what a pleasure it was having Ned and Mary Dillwith returning for a visit. We missed you folks. Welcome to Ronald and Elanor Allen who have just moved to Tonopah from Las Vegas. We hope' they enjoy their retirement in our community. We were pleasantly surprised to have our County Administrator Les Bradshaw, Rachel Nicholson and Charles Rodenwald come by for lunch on Friday. We hope they enjoyed their brief visit with us. A big thank you to Helen & Jerry D'Ottavio for the fresh lemons. And to No to Abuse and Warehouse Mar- ket for their donations. We deeply appreciate their kind thoughts and support. Take a moment to check our Menu for the coming week. Thursday (3113): Baked Ham Friday (3/14): Herb & Lemon Fish Monday (3/17): ST.
