P Sidney Dickey Sidney William Dickey, 64, died at his home in Pahr- ump, Nevada on February 26, 1997. Born in Billings. Montana on March 2 I, t 932, he has lived in Pahrump for 7 years, coming fl&apos;om Honer, Alaska. where he worked at Sunrise Bakery in Anchorage, Alaska. He was a member of the Elks and Moose. Dickey is survived by his wife, Donna L. Dickey of Pahr- ump, NV; sons Sidney Dickey Jr. of Athens TN and Les Dickey of Eugene OR; daughter Bonny Kirby of Shreve- port, LA; sisters Violet Hjort of Billings, MT, Helen Perron of Spokane, WA and Florence Ricki and 3 grandchildren. Private family services to be held. All arrangements were handled by the Neptune Society of Nye County. Gerald Mock A memorial service for Gerald William Mock will be held Sunday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at the Pahrump Community Center. A 28 year resident of Pahrump, he was born March 20, 1927 in Buffalo, NY. As a young man, he served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Santa Fe as a bugler. Gerald and Helen married in Tucson, AZ, on October 7, 1959. A Nevada resi- dent since 1964. he was a truck driver for more than 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Helen; sons Gerald of Las Vegas, Rick of Pahrump, and David of Henderson; daugh- ters Patricia DeBerger of Las Vegas and Denis Mock of Pahrump. He had 5 grandchildren and I great-grandchild. Harold L. Berg Harold Lee Berg,76 died on March 3, 1997, at his resi- dence in Pahrump, Nevada. He was a Pahrump resident since 1989. coming from Hesperia. CA. Born on February 6, 1921 in Newton, Kansas. He is survived my his wife, Helen of Pahrump ; son David of Hampton VA., daughter Karen Watkins of Salt Lake City UT.; brother Raymond of Newton Kansas and sister Ruth Moor of Evansville IN. Memorial services will be held March 7, 1997 at the LDS church with Bishop Steve Rainbolt officiating. Inurement in the Pahrump Cemetery immediately following.\\; Arrangements were handled by Neptune Society of Nye County. Pahrump Visual and Per- forming Arts Council The Pahrump Visual & Performing Arts Council (PVPAC) announces its third annual fine arts & crafts fair, Art & Sol, to be held May 3 on the grounds of the Calvada Blvd. All artists & fine crafters are invited to participate in showing & selling their works. Musical entertainment & artists' demonstrations will be scheduled throughout the day. The fee for booth space is $30 for a maximum of 12 by 12 feet. Space may be shared.
