ROBINSON
Beverley J. Robinson, 63. died Feb. 20 at a Las "v'cgts
hospital. Born Aug. 16, 1933 in Maywood, California. she
had been a resident of Pahrump for seven years. Services
xere held Tuesday at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic
Church.
Before moving to Pahrump she was the office manager
for Forest Lawn Mortuary. She was a member of the Catho-
lic Church, American Mensa, and served as secretary of
the Pahrump Community Library Board. She also was a
past chairwoman and current member of the Friends of the
Library, was a tutor for the Pahrump Literacy
Council. She was a member of the Pahrump Cemetery
Board, the Oasis Writers Guild, served as secretary for the
Service Assistance Program, and was a former writer for
Pahrump Magazine. In addition Mrs. Robinson continued
English language studies with special emphasis on British
and American literature, and she was a
freelance writer.
She is survived by her husband, George of Pahrump,
two daughters, Dana and her husband Keith Pollock of Pahr-
ump, and Shannon and Steve Lockard also of Pahrump; a
sister, Judy Sarno of Lake Isabella, CA; stepdaughter and
husband Rosanne and Don Stitcher of Cave City, AR, and
Kenny and Cindy Robinson of Costa Mesa, CA; four grand-
children, Kristy, Brandon, John and Cheyanne Pollock, all
of Pahrump; nine step-grandchildren; and two great-grand-
children. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacey
Wisecup; and her stepfather, Fred Pipkin.
