NOTICE OF APPLICATION
Nevada Bell has filed an application, designated as Docket
No. 97-1042, with the Public Service Commission of Nevada
("Commission"). Nevada Bell seeks a permit to construct a stor-
age facility on its property in Pahrump, Nevada.
The proposed facility is a single storymetal building which
will contain approximately 4,000 square feet of storage space
for telephone installation and maintenance supplies and which
will be located at 530 Blagg Road in Pahrump. The legal de-
scription of the proposed site is: a portion of the SE4 Section 16,
Township 20 South, Range 53 East M.D.M. being Lot 1 of Block
2 of Boiling Green Acres File 16505, Nye County, Nevada
Records.
The application was filed pursuant to the provisions of Chap-
ters 703 and 704 of NRS and NAC, in particular, NRS 704.820
to 704.900, inclusive, and NAC 703.415 to 703.428, inclusive,
and is on file and available for viewing by the public at the of-
rices of the Commission, 727 Fairview Drive, Carson City, Ne-
vada 89710 and the State Office Building, 555 East Washington
Avenue, Suite 4600, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101. Persons with a
