of an estimated 200 tons of
the following road materials
delivered to the Road De-
partment yard in Pahrump
and EO.B. plant:
MC-70

Transportation Standard
Specifications for Road and
Bridge Construction, 1986)
The Contractor will be re-
quired to:
1. Provide all materials,
in the type/quality and quan-
tity specified, and in a timely
fashion.
2. Cooperate fully with all
necessary testing to assure
the type and quality of the
materials provided to the
County.
3. Provide for certified
weighing of all material re-
ceived by the County, at the
Contractor's expense.
The Contractor must:
1. Post a bid bond equal
to five percent (5%) of the
Contractor's bid.
2. Pay his or her employ-
ees at the prevailing rate of
wages, as provided in NRS
Chapter 338.
3. Carry vehicle liability
insurance on each truck or
other vehicle used in the per-
formance of the Contract, in
an amount not less than
$150,000/300,000 single
person, single accident cov-
erage, with the County
named as an additional in-
sured.
4. Carry a minimum of'
$150,000 general liability
insurance.
5. Pay SIIS for the Con-
tractor and all employees.
6. Withhold and pay all
applicable federal, state and/
or local taxes.
7. Provide proof of quali-
fication and ability to supply
the materials required, in-
cluding documentation of
right to access to materials,
if applicable.
Each bidder must .supply
the price for furnishing MC-
70 from February 18, 1997
through December 31, 1997.
Each bid should include the
price per ton for the road
materials EO.B. plant or de-
livered to Road Department
yard in Pahrump.
A "bid package" has been
prepared by the County and
includes the general Instruc-
tions to Bidders; a detailed
summary of the scope of the
proposed Contract; the
specifications for the mate-
rials to be provided; and the
Proposal documents which
must be submitted by all per-
sons desiring to bid on the
proposed contra&. The bid
package, including the Pro-
posal submitted by the suc-
cessful bidder, will become
a part of the Contract which
is awarded.
