Eddie, bowl of meringue

"Eddie," the story, is the ultimate fanatic fan's fantasy
fulfillment. The chance to take a losing bunch of players and
turn them into a winning team.
"Eddie" PG 13, the movie, is as substantial as a bowl of
meringue. The fihn is basically all sweetness and fluff,
covered with a spoonful of predictability.
Now predictability in Pahrump is not necessarily a bad
thing, and for an evening of light viewing, this certainly fills
the bill.

If you' re one who runs around the house yelling, "Whoopi,

film is definitely Whoopi's. The best lines are hers, the
strongest character is hers, she is really the only member of
the cast to take the A.T.& T. approach, she reaches out and
touches the viewer.
If you're a fan of Goldberg and round ball then "Eddie" is
for you.
